The Exclusive Lifetime Craftsmanship Warranty
Every trailer that leaves our Ocala, FL facility is backed by our Exclusive Lifetime Craftsmanship Warranty — our commitment to the quality of the build itself, for as long as you own the trailer.
Who the Warranty Applies To
The Exclusive Lifetime Craftsmanship Warranty is non-transferable and applies only to trailers purchased new, either directly from Nextrail or through an authorized affiliated dealer. It does not extend to trailers purchased secondhand or transferred to a subsequent owner.
What the Warranty Covers
The Lifetime Craftsmanship Warranty covers manufacturer defects and workmanship in the construction of your trailer. If a structural issue traces back to how the trailer was built — a weld, a frame component, or a manufacturing defect in materials we used — we stand behind it.
Because we manufacture every trailer ourselves, we’re able to offer this level of coverage with confidence. We’re not relying on a third-party builder’s warranty passed through to you — we built it, so we back it.
What the Warranty Does Not Cover
Like any trailer warranty, ours doesn’t cover normal wear-and-tear components. These parts wear down through regular use on any trailer, regardless of how well it was built, and maintaining them is part of normal trailer ownership:
- Brakes and brake components
- Tires
- Wheel bearings
- Other components that naturally wear with use over time
Damage from accidents, improper use, overloading beyond the trailer’s rated capacity, lack of routine maintenance, or modifications made after purchase also fall outside craftsmanship warranty coverage.
Why We Separate Craftsmanship from Wear Items
It’s worth explaining the distinction, because not every trailer buyer understands why “lifetime warranty” doesn’t mean “lifetime free parts.” Craftsmanship — how the frame is welded, how the trailer is assembled, the integrity of the materials used — is something we control completely, so we can stand behind it without qualification. Wear items like brakes, tires, and bearings depend heavily on how and where a trailer is used: saltwater exposure, mileage, towing habits, and maintenance frequency all affect how long those components last, no matter who built the trailer. Backing those the same way we back our own workmanship wouldn’t be an honest warranty — it would just be a marketing line.
How to Keep Your Trailer in Warranty-Ready Condition
While routine maintenance items aren’t covered under the craftsmanship warranty, staying on top of them helps prevent issues that could otherwise be mistaken for — or lead to — a construction-related problem down the line. See our full Trailer Maintenance Schedule for a detailed, interval-by-interval checklist covering bearings, brakes, tires, and frame inspections.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the warranty cover brakes, tires, or bearings?
No. These are normal wear items on any trailer and aren’t covered under the craftsmanship warranty. They require routine maintenance and periodic replacement regardless of how the trailer was built.
What counts as a "workmanship" issue versus normal wear?
Workmanship issues relate to how the trailer was constructed — a weld, frame component, or manufacturing defect in materials. Wear issues relate to components that degrade through normal use, like worn brake pads or aging tires, which happen on any trailer over time.
Is the warranty different for boat trailers versus car haulers?
No — the same craftsmanship warranty terms apply across our aluminum boat trailers and car haulers, since it covers the manufacturing and workmanship of the build itself rather than trailer type.
What should I do if I think I have a warranty claim?
Contact us directly at (352) 690-6244 or through our contact page. Since we build every trailer ourselves, we can assess the issue and let you know quickly whether it’s a covered defect.
Is the warranty transferable if I sell my trailer?
No. The Exclusive Lifetime Craftsmanship Warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser who bought the trailer new from Nextrail or an authorized affiliated dealer.
Does the warranty apply if I buy a Nextrail trailer used?
No. Coverage only applies to trailers purchased new, directly from Nextrail or an authorized affiliated dealer — it doesn’t extend to secondhand purchases or transfer between owners.
What do I need to file a warranty claim?
You’ll need proof of purchase showing the trailer was bought new from Nextrail or an authorized dealer, along with photos of the issue. If the claim is approved, you’ll need to bring the trailer to our Ocala facility for the repair.
Does buying factory-direct affect my warranty coverage?
If anything, it simplifies it. Because Nextrail manufactures the trailer you’re buying, there’s no third-party builder to go through for warranty claims — you’re dealing directly with the people who built your trailer from day one.
